It's a Minecraft Cake cake, obviously.

 

 There are many days I'm really happy I had boys!

I love the stuff they have for boys now a day.  While other moms are pulling cards out of seat cushions and asking, "What is a Zekrom supposed to be?", I can proudly say I'm one of those crazy

mom who actually figured out how to play Pokemon the game, supporter cards and all.  I even have my favourites like Maractus, (he's cute and prickly all at the same time).

 

 

And I've already declared my love for Minecraft.  I built me a nether reactor the other day and now I'm growing melons, I just know my husband is so proud...

Above is the cake you can make in Minecraft, with enough buckets for milk, some eggs, sugar and wheat of course.  I'm guessing my version tasted better, I'll have to ask Steve.

Reptile party.  I have a feeling it got eatten faster then it could grow it's own tail back...

And my Snail Love cake for a wedding anniversary.  I recently read that snails have thousands of teeth, good thing they don't need braces, that could cause quite a lip-locked loving mollusc moment.

The movie we HAVE to see...

I was asked to make a Merida cake for a little friend of mine not too long ago.

My guys aren't all that interested in movies yet, so I'm a little behind on the newest kid flicks.

But when I found out Merida was from the movie Brave, I was really interested in checking it out...

 

 

 

...because for some strange reason, we would get stopped at least once a week by a stranger wanting to know if we'd seen it.

Granted, we only have twin red heads, not triplets, and personally I think of them more as monkeys then bears.... but the bizarre interest in our choice of movies now makes a lot more sense.

Hockey, hockey you're no fun,

 if you don't mind my language being obscene.

Knee deep in... boys.

So, an apology for not keeping my blog up to date.  As some of you know I'm a mom of 3 very busy, goofy, loveable boys.  Seen here on the verge of getting dirty and/or in trouble most likely.  (Yes the red heads are twins, no we don't know how that happened,... the red hair or the cloning.)

But my boys are growing up, needing me less, wanting to play hockey with Dad more.  *Wipe tears on apron*  So I thought now might be a good time to get back to kneeding some fondant and whisking some batter, (when I'm not sneaking in a snuggle or destroying my children in a game of Settlers of Catan, because it's good to teach them to be gracious loosers, and because they are already better at most sports then me).
